Bring the digital world to life. Simply, hands-on, memorably.

Children use technology every day. Very few know where it lives, how it works, or who builds it. ThreadPoint delivers story-led, hands-on workshops that help pupils explore digital infrastructure, data, networks, energy and the people who build it, in ways they can see, touch and remember.

No screens. No lectures. No prep required from your team.

Trusted by schools, libraries and local authorities including the London Boroughs of Hackney and Camden. Primary delivery supported by The Portal Trust.

Where the Internet Goes to Sleep.

At the heart of every ThreadPoint school session is our published children's book. Written by founder Willow Williams, it introduces children to data centres, servers, cooling and the people who keep the internet running, through story, imagination and characters they can connect with.

Printed in OpenDyslexic font for neuroinclusive accessibility, the book supports KS1 and KS2 Computing themes. Each school receives a copy for its library, with take-home copies available as part of selected packages. The learning does not end when we pack up.

What pupils and teachers say.

I want to be an Engineer now. How much do they earn?

PARTICIPANT, AGE EIGHT

Honestly? Before today, I thought the cloud was actually up there. Now we know it is real buildings with real people keeping it all running.

YEAR 5 TEACHER

The day was thoroughly enjoyable, and it was fantastic to see how curious and engaged the children were throughout the sessions.
